Shipping Policy

Scope: United States Only (Contiguous 48 States)
At Mimontee, we understand that ordering furniture online requires trust. We are committed to delivering your solid wood desks and dining tables safely and efficiently. Because our products are substantial, high-value items, we partner with specialized logistics carriers to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
1. Shipping Area
Currently, we ship exclusively to the Contiguous United States (Lower 48 States). We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, P.O. Boxes, or APO/FPO addresses due to carrier restrictions on heavy furniture.
2. Processing Time & Delivery

Processing Time: All orders are inspected, reinforced, and palletized within 1–3 business days.

Same-Day Cut-Off: Orders placed before 2:00 PM ET are processed the same business day. Orders placed after this time will be handled the following business day.
3. Shipping Costs & Transit Times
We offer a transparent Flat Rate for standard orders and Free Shipping for larger furniture orders.
Note: Transit times are estimates. Remote or rural areas may require additional days for delivery.
4. Delivery Methods
Depending on the size of your table, we use two primary shipping methods:
A. Standard Ground (For Desks & Smaller Tables) Smaller items are shipped via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground.

These are typically delivered to your front door or porch.

No signature is usually required unless requested.
B. LTL Freight (For Large Dining Tables) Large, heavy solid wood tables travel via Freight Carrier (Truck).

Appointment: The carrier will call you to schedule a delivery window. You generally need to be present to sign for the package.

Curbside Delivery: The driver will unload the item at the curb (end of your driveway). They strictly do not bring furniture inside your home, up stairs, or assemble it.

Recommendation: We strongly suggest having a friend or family member available to help you move the box indoors.
5. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation Email containing your Tracking Number (or Freight PRO Number).

Please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking status to update in the carrier’s system.
6. Packaging & Assembly
We treat every Mimontee table like a piece of art. Here is how we ensure it arrives safely and is ready for your home:

Industrial-Grade Packaging: To prevent transit damage, your table is encased in heavy-duty protection. This includes high-density foam padding, reinforced hardboard corner guards (to protect the wood edges), and thick honeycomb cardboard cartons.

Simple “Bolt-On” Assembly: We know you want to enjoy your new furniture, not struggle with it.

Legs Detached: To ensure safety during shipping, tables are shipped flat with the legs detached.

Quick Setup: No carpentry skills required. Simply align the legs with the pre-drilled metal inserts on the tabletop and tighten the included bolts using the provided Allen key.

Time Estimate: Setup typically takes 10–15 minutes. We recommend two people for lifting the tabletop upright after assembly.

7. Damaged or Lost Goods
Wood furniture is durable but can be vulnerable during transit.

Inspect Upon Delivery: Please inspect the outer packaging before the driver leaves. If you see visible damage (crushed corners, holes, tears), you must:

Refuse the shipment (if damage is severe).

OR Write “Damaged” on the delivery receipt/POD before signing.

Concealed Damage: If the box looked fine but the wood inside is damaged, take clear photos and email us at support@mimontee.com within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a repair, replacement part, or full exchange at no cost to you.
8. Order Cancellation

Cancellation Window: You may cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of placement, provided it has not shipped.

After Shipping: If the order is already in transit, it cannot be canceled. You will need to receive the item and follow our Return & Refund Policy. If you refuse a non-damaged shipment due to a change of mind, the cost of return freight will be deducted from your refund.
9. Return & Refund
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

Condition: The table must be unassembled, unused, and returned in its original carton with all protective packaging.

Return Costs: For personal preference returns (Change of Mind), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Please note that return shipping for heavy furniture can be substantial.
