Return & Refund Policy

At Mimontee, we take pride in the quality of our solid wood tables. We want you to love your new workspace or dining area. However, we understand that sometimes a piece might not fit your space as expected. This policy outlines how returns and refunds are handled for our furniture products within the United States.

1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

  • If 30 days have passed since your furniture was delivered, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following strict criteria:

  • Unassembled: The table must be in its original, disassembled state. We cannot accept returns for furniture that has been fully assembled, as assembly leaves marks on the screw holes and joints.

  • Original Packaging: You must return the item in its original factory carton with all internal protective foam and corner guards. Please do not discard the packaging until you are 100% satisfied with your purchase.

  • Condition: The item must be unused, free of scratches, stains, or modifications.

3. Return Shipping Costs

A. Defective or Damaged Item (Our Fault)

If your table arrives damaged (cracked wood, bent legs) or if we sent the wrong model:

  • We cover the cost. We will arrange for a carrier to pick up the defective item and ship you a replacement at no cost.

B. Change of Mind (Your Choice)

If you decide the table is too big, too small, or you simply don’t like the color in your room:

  • Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for the return shipping costs.

  • Freight Warning: Please note that shipping heavy furniture via LTL Freight is expensive. Return shipping costs can range from $150 to $400+ depending on your location and the weight of the item.

  • Label Service: We can arrange the return freight label for you at our discounted carrier rates, and the cost will be deducted from your final refund.

4. Refund Process

Once your return is received at our warehouse:

  • Inspection: Our team will inspect the item within 3–5 business days to ensure it is in original condition.

  • Refund Calculation:

    • Refund Amount = Total Order Value – [Return Shipping Cost] – [Original Shipping Cost (if applicable)].

    • Note: If your order qualified for Free Shipping, we will deduct the actual cost we paid to ship the item to you originally.

  • Processing: The refund will be credited back to your original payment method within 7 business days.

5. Restocking Fee

We generally do not charge a restocking fee if the item is returned in perfect, unopened condition.

  • However, if the item is returned damaged due to poor repacking by the customer, or if parts/hardware are missing, we reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee of up to 30% to cover the loss of value.

6. Damaged Upon Arrival

Freight damage is rare but possible.

  • Inspect Immediately: You must inspect the outer box while the driver is present.

  • Visible Damage: If the box is torn or crushed, write “DAMAGED” on the delivery receipt and Refuse the shipment.

  • Concealed Damage: If you find damage after opening the box, you must email us at support@mimontee.com within 48 hours with clear photos. We will arrange a replacement part or a full exchange.

7. Order Cancellation

  • Before Shipping: You may cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of placing the order.

  • After Shipping: Once the freight carrier has picked up the pallet, the order cannot be canceled. You will need to receive the item and follow the standard Return process (Section 3B).
